Orders for US addresses are printed in the USA, at the nearest of six presses in New York, Illinois, Texas, Kentucky, Utah and California, and delivered by USPS or Amazon Shipping. Prints are printed within two working days and usually arrive three to four working days later, tracked; framed prints take one to three working days to make first. Standard delivery is included, and prices show in US dollars.

Sizes run both ways: the American ones, 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, 18x24 and 24x36, plus A-series and squares. Pick whichever matches the shape of your image and the crop tool fits it. The paper is 240gsm giclée in matte, satin or gloss at one price; frames are Black, White or Oak pine with plexiglass, delivered ready to hang.

Is it really printed in the US?

Yes. Orders for US addresses go to the nearest of six American presses, in New York, Illinois, Texas, Kentucky, Utah and California, and are delivered domestically, so there's no import, no customs and no transatlantic wait.

Do you add sales tax?

No. The price you see is the price you pay; nothing is added at checkout and nothing is collected on delivery.

Which sizes are American and which are metric?

5x7, 8x10, 11x14, 11x17, 12x18, 16x20, 16x24, 18x24, 20x30, 24x32, 24x36 and the squares are in inches; A5 to A0 are metric; both print on the same paper and both come framed in most sizes.

What currency do I pay in?

US dollars, converted from our sterling list at the day's rate. You're charged in dollars, so your card doesn't add a foreign-transaction fee.

Printing a photo at American sizes

American frame sizes come in three shapes, and the easiest way to choose is to match the shape of the photo. 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20 are 4:5, the shape of a portrait straight off most phones and of Instagram portraits. 12x18, 20x30 and 24x36 are 2:3, the shape of a photo from a camera. 18x24 and 24x32 are 3:4, the shape of a phone photo taken the normal way.

Pick the size and the crop tool shows you the fit, so there's no maths to do; if the frame cuts off something you want, try the neighbouring shape. For a wall, 16x20 and 18x24 are the usual choices above a sofa or a bed, 24x36 for a wall you want to make the room about, and 8x10 or 11x14 for a desk, a shelf or a cluster.

Frames are made to these exact sizes, so a framed 16x20 is a 16x20, not a metric near-miss, and it hangs from the kit in the box. If it looks sharp on your screen it'll print well up to 20x30; the uploader tells you if a file is too small for the size you've picked.
