ABOUT

Poster printing for Sheffield, without the print shop

Sheffield is standard UK delivery: included, tracked, usually two to three working days after dispatch. Prints ordered before 3pm on a working day leave the same day; framed prints take one to three working days to make first.

We print on paper only: 240gsm archival stock with giclée-quality inks, in gloss, satin or matte, framed or not. No canvas, no boards, no stretching. It keeps the prices low and the turnaround fast, and for a photo or a piece of art on a wall it's what most people want once they've seen it.

Mix sizes and designs in one order; three or more prints to one address are 20% off, and there's no minimum. Frames are Black, White or Oak pine with plexiglass, ready to hang. Prices are set for the five thousand or so sellers who use us every day rather than for walk-in customers.

Homes
Photos, digital downloads, children's drawings, gig posters. One print, no minimum, delivered to the door.
Businesses
Office art, event signage, exhibition and market prints. Pay per order, no account manager required.
Sellers
More than 5,000 shops print with us every day, which is why a single poster costs so little.

THE PAPER

Paper you can feel

Every poster is printed on 240gsm archival paper, FSC-certified, with giclée-quality inks. It's the paper our sellers get rave reviews for, and it's the same for a single print as for a thousand. Three finishes, all the same price.

Gloss
Bold, vibrant colours with a reflective shine. The one for photos.
Satin
Smooth, subtle sheen with minimal glare. Lifts colour without the shine.
Matte
Classic flat finish, no reflections. The choice for art prints and anything behind glass.

Printing in Sheffield: your questions

Do you print on canvas?

No, paper only. A framed matte print gives a similar finished-wall look at a lower price, and it's lighter to hang.

Can I order several different photos in one go?

Yes. Add each one to the basket with its own size and finish; three or more prints to one address are 20% off and they arrive together.

Is this a real photo print or a poster print?

A giclée print on 240gsm archival paper, the kind galleries and print sellers use. Heavier and sharper than a high-street poster, and it doesn't fade indoors.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Every order ships tracked and you get the number by email the moment it leaves production.

Paper print or canvas: what's the difference

We print on paper only, so this is a straight explanation rather than a pitch. A canvas print is the image printed on fabric and stretched over a wooden frame; it has texture, no glass, and a soft look that suits some photos. A paper print is sharper, shows more detail, and can be framed behind plexiglass or hung as it is.

The practical differences are cost and weight. A framed paper print at A2 costs a good deal less than a canvas the same size, weighs less on the wall, and takes a standard hook. Canvas can't be reframed or swapped; a paper print can be moved into any frame later.

If you like the finished-wall look of a canvas, a matte paper print in a Black or Oak frame gets you most of the way there, with better detail and a price that leaves room for a second print.
