ABOUT

Poster printing for Manchester, without the print shop

Nothing about a Manchester postcode changes the offer, so this page is about the things that do matter when you order a poster online: timing, the address it's going to, and whether your file is the right shape. Prints ordered before 3pm on a working day are dispatched the same day and usually reach Manchester addresses two to three working days later, tracked.

The print is 240gsm giclée paper in gloss, satin or matte, framed in Black, White or Oak if you want it, at prices set for the five thousand or so sellers who use us every day rather than for walk-in customers. No minimum order, and three or more prints to one address are 20% off.

If the poster is for a room in halls or a shared house, order it unframed: cheaper, easier to carry up the stairs, and it goes up with tabs or a clip frame. Check the file's shape first; a phone photo is usually 3:4, which fits 30x40cm, 18x24 or 24x32.

Homes
Photos, digital downloads, children's drawings, gig posters. One print, no minimum, delivered to the door.
Businesses
Office art, event signage, exhibition and market prints. Pay per order, no account manager required.
Sellers
More than 5,000 shops print with us every day, which is why a single poster costs so little.

THE PAPER

Paper you can feel

Every poster is printed on 240gsm archival paper, FSC-certified, with giclée-quality inks. It's the paper our sellers get rave reviews for, and it's the same for a single print as for a thousand. Three finishes, all the same price.

Gloss
Bold, vibrant colours with a reflective shine. The one for photos.
Satin
Smooth, subtle sheen with minimal glare. Lifts colour without the shine.
Matte
Classic flat finish, no reflections. The choice for art prints and anything behind glass.

Printing in Manchester: your questions

Do you deliver to student halls?

Yes, to any address with a postcode. Halls and shared houses usually have a reception or a mailroom; the courier delivers there and the tracking tells you when it's arrived. Put your room or flat number in the address so it finds you.

Can I get it tomorrow?

Not guaranteed. Prints ordered before 3pm leave the same day and usually arrive two to three working days later; Priority at checkout is the fastest option for orders of prints. If it's for a date, order a week ahead.

Is there a minimum order?

No. One A4 is a normal order, and standard delivery is included on it.

How do I know it'll print sharp?

If it looks sharp on your screen, it'll print sharp. Upload the biggest version you have, and the uploader tells you if a file is too small for the size you've picked.

Poster printing near Manchester

Delivery covers Greater Manchester, including Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Bolton, Oldham and Wigan, at the same price. Nearby: Liverpool and Leeds. Across the country: the UK.

Prints for halls and rented rooms

Most landlords and halls don't want holes in the wall, which rules out a framed print on a hook but not a print. Order it unframed and it arrives rolled in a tube; give it a day flat under a couple of books and it'll lie flat.

To put it up without marks, use removable picture strips or washi tape at the corners; both come off clean at the end of the year. Poster hangers, the magnetic wooden rails, are another route and make a print look finished without a frame. Matte is the finish to choose for a bright room, because it doesn't catch the light from a window.

Size-wise, A3 is the safe choice for a room in halls, A2 if there's a bare wall above a desk or a bed. Three or more prints to one address are 20% off, so a set for a shared house works out cheaper than ordering one at a time, and everything arrives together.
