ABOUT

Poster printing for Liverpool, without the print shop

Ordering from Liverpool is standard UK delivery: included, tracked, usually two to three working days after dispatch. Prints ordered before 3pm on a working day leave the same day, and framed prints take one to three working days to make first.

Most people's first question is whether a photo from their phone will look good printed. It will. If it looks sharp on your screen, it prints sharp, and the uploader tells you if a file is too small for a very large size. Gloss or satin suits photos, matte suits art and anything behind glass, and the paper is 240gsm giclée whichever you choose.

There's no minimum, prices are set for the sellers who print with us every day rather than for walk-in customers, and three or more prints to one address are 20% off. Frames are Black, White or Oak pine with plexiglass, ready to hang.

Homes
Photos, digital downloads, children's drawings, gig posters. One print, no minimum, delivered to the door.
Businesses
Office art, event signage, exhibition and market prints. Pay per order, no account manager required.
Sellers
More than 5,000 shops print with us every day, which is why a single poster costs so little.

THE PAPER

Paper you can feel

Every poster is printed on 240gsm archival paper, FSC-certified, with giclée-quality inks. It's the paper our sellers get rave reviews for, and it's the same for a single print as for a thousand. Three finishes, all the same price.

Gloss
Bold, vibrant colours with a reflective shine. The one for photos.
Satin
Smooth, subtle sheen with minimal glare. Lifts colour without the shine.
Matte
Classic flat finish, no reflections. The choice for art prints and anything behind glass.

Printing in Liverpool: your questions

Can I pay without creating an account?

Yes. Upload, choose a size, pay at the checkout like any online shop. No account needed.

Will a framed print survive the courier?

Yes. Frames use 1–2mm plexiglass rather than glass and travel corner-protected in a box. If one does arrive damaged, send a photo of the damage and of the packaging with the label visible and we reprint and resend it free.

Do you print wallet or photo-booth sizes?

No. The smallest we print is A5 or 5x7 inches, on the same paper as everything else.

What file types do you take?

JPEG or PNG. If an iPhone photo won't upload, save it as a JPEG first and try again.

Poster printing near Liverpool

Delivery covers Merseyside, including the Wirral, Birkenhead, St Helens, Southport, Warrington and Runcorn, at the same price. Nearby: Manchester. Across the country: the UK.

Which finish for which image

All three finishes are the same paper and the same price, so the choice is purely about how the picture will look in the room. Gloss has the most shine and the deepest colour, and it's the closest to how a photo looks on a phone; it also reflects the most, so it's for walls that aren't opposite a window. Satin has a soft sheen, lifts colour without the glare, and is the safe choice for most photos.

Matte has no reflection at all, which makes it the choice for artwork, typography, black and white, and anything going behind glass, where a glossy print would double the reflections. It's also the most forgiving of fingerprints.

If you're torn, the usual answer is satin for photos and matte for everything else. Framed prints are always printed matte for exactly this reason: the plexiglass provides the shine, so the paper doesn't need to.
