ABOUT

Poster printing for Nottingham, without the print shop

Nottingham is standard UK delivery: included, tracked, usually two to three working days after dispatch. Prints ordered before 3pm on a working day leave the same day; framed prints take one to three working days to make first.

The whole thing is built to be done from a phone in a few minutes: pick a size, upload a photo from your camera roll, drag the crop until it looks right, pay. The print that arrives is a proper giclée print on 240gsm paper, not a poster-shop print on thin stock, and it comes rolled in a tube or boxed in a frame.

Gloss, satin or matte at one price, frames in Black, White or Oak pine delivered ready to hang, no minimum order, three or more prints to one address 20% off, and prices set for the five thousand or so sellers who use us every day rather than for walk-in customers.

Homes
Photos, digital downloads, children's drawings, gig posters. One print, no minimum, delivered to the door.
Businesses
Office art, event signage, exhibition and market prints. Pay per order, no account manager required.
Sellers
More than 5,000 shops print with us every day, which is why a single poster costs so little.

THE PAPER

Paper you can feel

Every poster is printed on 240gsm archival paper, FSC-certified, with giclée-quality inks. It's the paper our sellers get rave reviews for, and it's the same for a single print as for a thousand. Three finishes, all the same price.

Gloss
Bold, vibrant colours with a reflective shine. The one for photos.
Satin
Smooth, subtle sheen with minimal glare. Lifts colour without the shine.
Matte
Classic flat finish, no reflections. The choice for art prints and anything behind glass.

Printing in Nottingham: your questions

Can I order from my phone?

Yes. Upload straight from your camera roll, crop with a finger, pay at the checkout. If an iPhone photo won't upload, save it as a JPEG first.

Is this a real photo print or a poster print?

A giclée print: archival inks on 240gsm archival paper, the kind galleries and print sellers use. It's heavier and sharper than a high-street poster and it doesn't fade indoors.

How is it packed?

Prints rolled in a heavy-duty cardboard tube, or flat for small sizes; framed prints corner-protected in a box. Anything that arrives damaged is reprinted and resent free.

Can I send a print to someone in Nottingham from abroad?

Yes. Order from wherever you are, put their Nottingham address at checkout, and it's printed in the UK and delivered tracked with no customs and nothing in the parcel saying where it came from.

Poster printing near Nottingham

Delivery covers Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands, including Derby, Mansfield, Beeston, West Bridgford, Newark and Loughborough, at the same price. Nearby: Leicester and Sheffield. Across the country: the UK.

What giclée means, and why it matters

Giclée is a printing method, not a paper. It means an inkjet press laying down pigment inks in fine droplets, which gives sharper detail and better colour than the poster presses most high-street shops use, and inks that don't fade in normal indoor light. It's how galleries and print sellers make reproductions.

The paper is the other half. Ours is 240gsm archival stock, roughly twice the weight of a typical shop poster, which is why it hangs flat, feels like a print rather than a leaflet, and doesn't go yellow. Gloss, satin and matte are the same paper with a different surface.

In practice it means one thing for you: you can print a phone photo, a download or a piece of artwork and get something that looks like it was bought from a shop that sells prints, at a price set for the sellers who print hundreds of them a month.
