ABOUT

Poster printing for Leicester, without the print shop

Leicester is standard UK delivery: included, tracked, usually two to three working days after dispatch. Prints ordered before 3pm on a working day leave the same day; framed prints take one to three working days to make first.

A good number of Leicester orders are gifts sent from somewhere else: a family photo printed and framed for a parent's wall, ordered from another city or another country. That works the same as any order. Put their address at checkout and yours as the buyer, and it arrives tracked, in a plain box, with nothing inside to say where it came from.

The paper is 240gsm giclée in gloss, satin or matte at one price, frames are Black, White or Oak pine with plexiglass, ready to hang, there's no minimum, three or more prints to one address are 20% off, and prices are set for the five thousand or so sellers who use us every day rather than for walk-in customers.

Homes
Photos, digital downloads, children's drawings, gig posters. One print, no minimum, delivered to the door.
Businesses
Office art, event signage, exhibition and market prints. Pay per order, no account manager required.
Sellers
More than 5,000 shops print with us every day, which is why a single poster costs so little.

THE PAPER

Paper you can feel

Every poster is printed on 240gsm archival paper, FSC-certified, with giclée-quality inks. It's the paper our sellers get rave reviews for, and it's the same for a single print as for a thousand. Three finishes, all the same price.

Gloss
Bold, vibrant colours with a reflective shine. The one for photos.
Satin
Smooth, subtle sheen with minimal glare. Lifts colour without the shine.
Matte
Classic flat finish, no reflections. The choice for art prints and anything behind glass.

Printing in Leicester: your questions

Can I send a print to someone in Leicester from abroad?

Yes. Order from wherever you are, enter their Leicester address at checkout, and it's printed in the UK and delivered tracked with no customs and no PrintShrimp branding in the parcel.

Do you print on canvas?

No, paper only. A framed matte print gives a similar finished look for less, and it's lighter on the wall.

Is the frame glass or plastic?

Plexiglass, 1–2mm, clearer than cheap acrylic and safe in the post. The frame itself is pine in Black, White or Oak.

What's the cheapest way to see what the quality is like?

One unframed print in the size you're considering. There's no minimum and delivery is included, so a single A4 or A3 is the quickest way to judge the paper before you order a set or a frame.

Poster printing near Leicester

Delivery covers Leicestershire, including Loughborough, Hinckley, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Coalville and Oadby, at the same price. Nearby: Nottingham and Birmingham. Across the country: the UK.

Sending a print from abroad: how it works

You can order from anywhere in the world for an address in Leicester, and it works the same as ordering from down the road. The print is made in the UK, so there's no customs, no import charge and nothing for the recipient to pay or sign for beyond the usual delivery.

At checkout, put their address as the delivery address and your own details as the buyer; the email confirmation and tracking come to you, the parcel goes to them. Prices are in pounds; your card converts. If you'd like to say something, add a note in the basket before you pay, and it travels with the order.

Framed is the easier gift, because it arrives boxed and ready to hang and nobody has to find a frame. Allow a week: one to three working days to make, then two to three to arrive. Nothing in the parcel says what it cost or where it was ordered from.
