ABOUT

Poster printing for Bath, without the print shop

Bath is standard UK delivery: included, tracked, usually two to three working days after dispatch, and the same price as Bristol or anywhere else. Prints ordered before 3pm on a working day leave the same day; framed prints take one to three working days to make first.

Frames are the thing people ask about most here, usually because the walls are old and the rooms are tall. Frames come in most sizes up to A1 in Black, White or Oak pine, with plexiglass rather than glass and the hanging kit in the box. There's no mount, but a white border added to your file prints as part of the image and gives the same look.

The paper is 240gsm giclée in gloss, satin or matte at one price. No minimum, three or more prints to one address 20% off, and prices set for the five thousand or so sellers who use us every day rather than for walk-in customers.

Homes
Photos, digital downloads, children's drawings, gig posters. One print, no minimum, delivered to the door.
Businesses
Office art, event signage, exhibition and market prints. Pay per order, no account manager required.
Sellers
More than 5,000 shops print with us every day, which is why a single poster costs so little.

THE PAPER

Paper you can feel

Every poster is printed on 240gsm archival paper, FSC-certified, with giclée-quality inks. It's the paper our sellers get rave reviews for, and it's the same for a single print as for a thousand. Three finishes, all the same price.

Gloss
Bold, vibrant colours with a reflective shine. The one for photos.
Satin
Smooth, subtle sheen with minimal glare. Lifts colour without the shine.
Matte
Classic flat finish, no reflections. The choice for art prints and anything behind glass.

Printing in Bath: your questions

What sizes do frames come in?

A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1, 5x7 to 24x36 inches, 30x40cm and 50x70cm. Square sizes, 6x8, 28x40, 30x40 and A0 are print only.

What's the smallest size?

A5 and 5x7 inches, framed or unframed, on the same paper as everything else.

Can I order several prints to one address and save?

Yes. Three or more unframed prints in one order are 20% off every print, automatically. Framed prints don't count towards the three.

Is the paper FSC-certified?

Yes, and the packaging is recyclable: cardboard tubes for prints, boxes for frames.

Poster printing near Bath

Delivery covers Bath and the surrounding area, including Keynsham, Frome, Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge, Chippenham and Corsham, at the same price. Nearby: Bristol. Across the country: the UK.

Frames: sizes, colours, glazing and hanging

Frames come in most sizes up to A1 in Black, White or Oak pine, 20 to 25mm deep, glazed with 1 to 2mm plexiglass rather than glass, which is clearer than cheap acrylic and doesn't shatter in the post. The print inside is always matte, so there's no reflection on top of the glazing. A hanging kit comes in the box.

There's no mount, but the look is easy to get: add a white border to your image before you upload and it prints as part of the picture, with the frame sitting on the border. A border of about a tenth of the shorter side looks right for most images.

On older walls, a picture hook into a wall plug holds any size we frame; for A1, use two hooks and the two hangers on the back so it sits flat. If you're not allowed holes, a removable strip rated for the weight works for anything up to A3, and a picture rail hook does the rest.
