What to know before you upload

  • Export as PNG at full size from Canva or wherever you made it (Share, Download, PNG, size 2x or larger). PNG keeps the text crisp; a screenshot doesn't.
  • A4 for a counter or a treatment room, A3 for a wall or a window, A2 for a reception. If you made it at A4 in Canva it prints at A3 without changing anything.
  • Matte, always, for text: no glare under salon lights. Framed prints are matte and sit behind plexiglass that wipes clean.
  • Prices change, so order unframed copies for the frame you've got, or frame the first one and reorder the print alone next time.

How long it takes

Prints are normally dispatched the same day in the UK, the US and Australia, and within a couple of days in the EU and Canada; framed prints take one to three working days to make first. Black, White or Oak pine, 20–25mm deep, glazed with shatter-resistant plexiglass, hanging kit in the box. Printed matte so there's no glare behind the glass. Most sizes up to A1.

Black frame

A smooth black finish. Pine, 20–25mm deep, with 1–2mm shatter-resistant plexiglass.

Oak frame

A natural oak finish. Corner-protected in transit and delivered with the hanging kit in the box.

Your questions

Can I print the Canva price list I already made?

Yes. Download it as a PNG at the largest size offered and upload that. If Canva made it as a PDF, download as PNG instead; the uploader takes JPEG and PNG.

Can I print opening hours, a Wi-Fi sign or a QR code the same way?

Yes, same process, same paper. Keep a QR code at least 3cm across on the printed size and it scans; matte is the finish for codes.

Do you laminate or mount on board?

No. The framed version does the same job better: the print sits behind shatter-resistant plexiglass that wipes clean, in a frame that hangs or leans on a counter.

Can I order several for different rooms?

Yes, and three or more unframed prints to one address are 20% off. Framed and unframed can share an order.

Designing a price list that prints well

Most price lists are made in Canva at A4, and the two things that make them print well are size and contrast. Set the Canva page to A4 or A3 before you design, so nothing is stretched later, and keep the smallest text at 10pt or above: on a wall it's read from a metre away, and a thin grey font at 8pt disappears. Dark text on a pale background prints cleanest on matte paper.

Leave a margin of about a centimetre around the edge; a frame covers a few millimetres and a tight design loses its border. Download as PNG, size 2x, and check the preview on the product page, where you'll see it in the frame colour you've picked. White frames suit a bright salon; Black suits a barber's; Oak suits anything with wood or plants in the room.

When prices change, reorder the print alone and swap it into the frame you have, which takes a minute and costs a few pounds.
