Your audience already connects with your illustrations, characters, photography or distinctive visual style. Print on demand merchandise gives you another way to sell that creative work—without buying stock before you know what customers want.
Posters are a natural extension of a creator-led shop: a favourite design becomes something customers can display, rather than just scroll past. Add framed options and you can offer a finished piece of wall art, too.
With PrintShrimp, you create the designs, list the products and market them to your audience. We print, frame, pack and ship each order directly to your customer, white-label. Our Etsy and Shopify fulfilment connections and optional listing tools help you add wall-art merch to your business without taking on physical fulfilment.
Why posters deserve a place in your merch range
If you already run an ecommerce business, you do not need to invent a completely different brand to start selling prints. The strongest starting point is often the visual identity your customers already recognise.
An original character illustration, a photography series or artwork created around your content themes can become a focused poster collection. You can offer customers another way to enjoy your work while keeping the collection connected to your existing shop.
No stock commitment: we make each product after an order is placed. There is no minimum order quantity and no monthly minimum for fulfilment, so you can introduce a small collection rather than committing to a large production run.
More choice from your artwork: suitable files can be offered as unframed prints or ready-to-hang framed prints. That lets customers choose between buying the artwork alone and receiving a finished product.
No new packing routine: adding posters does not mean making room for tubes, frames or parcels. We handle that part while you keep building your catalogue and customer relationships.
Start with visuals your audience has a reason to own
A poster collection needs more than a logo placed on a larger canvas. Think about what your audience would genuinely want on their wall—and how it connects to the work they already enjoy.
| Your existing creative work | A possible poster collection | What connects it to your audience |
|---|---|---|
| Original characters and illustrations | Character portraits or a coordinated illustrated series | Familiar subjects presented as standalone artwork |
| Photography | A collection built around a place, subject or colour palette | A recognisable perspective customers can bring into their homes |
| Educational or interest-led content | Original diagrams, illustrated guides or themed artwork | A shared interest expressed visually |
| A distinctive brand aesthetic | Patterns, abstract artwork or original typography | The look and personality customers already associate with your shop |
Choose a small, cohesive group rather than uploading every image you have. For example, three original illustrations with a shared palette can work individually and look good together in your collection photography.
You must own or hold the appropriate licences for everything you upload, including artwork, photographs, fonts and other design elements. Build your merch around your own creative identity, not someone else's characters or branding.
Give customers a product that matches your creative work
Your listing introduces the design. The physical print is what your customer lives with. With poster print on demand, paper and presentation deserve as much attention as the artwork itself.
Our Premium poster paper is archival grade, with a minimum weight of 200gsm and 260gsm in most locations. Unframed prints are available in matte, satin and gloss finishes.
- Matte: a flat finish with no reflections.
- Satin: a subtle sheen with minimal glare.
- Gloss: a reflective shine.
For an art-led collection where paper texture is part of the appeal, our Fine Art range uses 300gsm, 100% cotton rag paper with a soft watercolour texture and a non-reflective surface. It is available for deliveries in the UK, USA, Canada and the EU.
Pick the product that suits the collection rather than offering every paper immediately. Ordering your chosen artwork to your own address lets you check the physical finish and create your own product photographs before promoting the range.
Add framed prints without assembling a single frame
Some customers want to choose their own frame. Others want their new artwork ready to put on the wall. Offering both means your collection can serve either preference.
Our ready-to-hang framed prints come in Black, Oak or White pine frames, with 1–2mm shatter-resistant plexiglass. We insert the artwork and include a hanging kit, then send the framed print corner-protected and boxed.
Framed prints use matte paper by default to avoid the glare associated with satin or gloss behind glazing. There is no separate mount; if a white border suits your design, include it in the artwork file so it prints as part of the image.
The commercial opportunity is a more complete product. You can sell the same creative work in a finished format without sourcing frames, assembling orders or handling bulky parcels yourself. Set your framed pricing separately so the extra product value also makes sense for your business.
Build the listings without starting from scratch each time
A good merch idea still needs clear product pages. Our Bulk Lister helps turn your designs into listings with room-scene mockups, AI-written titles, descriptions and tags, plus size and frame options.
Templates store your preferred mockups, pricing, content instructions and other listing settings. That gives a collection a consistent starting point while letting you review and edit each design's content.
Built-in price recommendations help you get started. Easy Mode pre-fills recommended prices for print-only and Black, White and Oak frame options. Recommendations are converted from GBP to your shop currency for you to review and adjust.
For Etsy, the Listing Hub creates draft listings that you activate on Etsy when ready. For Shopify, it downloads a product CSV for you to import into your store. It can also create the matching PrintShrimp products and print files, connecting your listing work with fulfilment.
Only offer sizes for which you have suitable artwork. One composition will not necessarily fit every print shape without cropping, so check the files for the sizes you choose before launching.
Keep your brand in front while we fulfil the order
Your customers are buying from your business. Our white-label fulfilment keeps PrintShrimp branding out of the parcel: no PrintShrimp logos, tags or packing slips.
Connect your Etsy or Shopify shop in the app, then match your product SKUs to your saved artwork. That link helps incoming orders find the correct file for the size purchased.
Orders wait unpaid for your check unless you have enabled eligible automatic payment. You can review artwork, product choices and addresses before paying. We then make and dispatch the order.
For connected Etsy orders, tracking sync can send tracking back and mark the Etsy order as dispatched. Shopify tracking goes back for orders sent through a fulfilment request. You continue to manage your listings, marketing and customer service; we handle printing, framing, packing and shipping.
Know your costs before promoting the collection
Use our current print and frame pricing to check the products and destinations you plan to offer. Fulfilment has no monthly fee or minimum commitment; optional software subscriptions are separate.
Standard shipping is included for the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and our listed European print and frame destinations. Rest of World deliveries carry a separate shipping charge. Check the destination-specific production and delivery estimates when setting your shop's delivery information.
Review your retail prices alongside marketplace or store fees, relevant taxes, advertising costs and any customer promotion. Our recommendations give you a starting point, while your final prices should fit your own business.
If you promote coordinated prints, we automatically discount every Premium print by 20% when one order contains three or more Premium prints going to one delivery address. Fine Art prints qualify separately at three or more. Frames never qualify or count towards the threshold, and shipping upgrades are not discounted.
Turn your next collection into wall-art merch
You already have the shop, the creative direction and an audience to introduce it to. Start with a focused group of original designs, choose suitable print and frame options, and build product pages that show how the artwork looks on a wall.
PrintShrimp brings the products, listing tools and white-label fulfilment together—so expanding your merch range does not mean taking on a stockroom.
Create your free PrintShrimp account and connect your shop to start building your poster collection. We will print, frame, pack and ship when the orders arrive.
