Black, White or Oak pine, 20–25mm deep, glazed with shatter-resistant plexiglass, hanging kit in the box. Printed matte so there's no glare behind the glass. Most sizes up to A1.

Black frame

A smooth black finish. Pine, 20–25mm deep, with 1–2mm shatter-resistant plexiglass.

Oak frame

A natural oak finish. Corner-protected in transit and delivered with the hanging kit in the box.

White frame

Your questions

Will my Instagram photo fit 11x14?

A portrait post, yes exactly; Instagram portraits are 4:5. A square post wants a square size, 12x12 or 14x14, or it crops top and bottom.

Is 11x14 big enough on a wall?

On its own, for a hallway, a desk or beside a door. Above furniture it wants company: three in a row, or step up to 16x20.

What's the metric equivalent?

28 x 36cm. A3 is close in size but a different shape; if you have an A-series file, pick A3 instead.

Does it come with a mat?

No. A white border added to your file before uploading gives the same look, with the frame sitting on the border.

8x10, 11x14 or 16x20: the same shape, three sizes

These three share the 4:5 shape, so one file prints at all of them and the choice is only how much wall you have. 8x10 is a desk or a shelf; 11x14 is a hallway, a bathroom or one of a group; 16x20 is the smallest that holds its own above a sofa or a bed.

Because they share a shape, they group well: one 16x20 flanked by two 11x14s, or a column of 8x10s beside a door, all cropped from phone portraits without losing anything.

Framed, all three are light, hang from one hook and lean happily on a shelf. Matte is what framed prints are printed on; satin suits a photo unframed.
